Body Balancing

Our musculoskeletal system needs alignment and balancing, just like how a car would. Without regular wheel-alignment, the tyres would wear out unevenly. In the same way, our joints wear out unevenly, causing irreversible damage. Therefore, it is very important to keep our system aligned and balanced and Body Balancing does just that.

It essentially involves balancing both:

  1. BONY ALIGNMENT–involving the correction of all joints and vertebrae, using a “chiropractic adjustor” and high velocity thrust manipulations.

Techniques include: Trigger Point Release (TPR), therapeutic massage

  1. SOFT TISSUE MOBILIZATION (muscles, fascia)–involving fascial manipulation, trigger point release for tight muscles, which cause restriction in the soft tissues.

The techniques include Active Inhibitory Stabilization (AIS), Myofascial Release (MFR), Active Release Technique (ART), Muscle Energy Technique (MET), Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM).

Treatment at regular intervals i.e. once in a month can prevent uneven degeneration of the joints. Specific exercises are given to maintain the effects of the treatment. Chiropractic, osteopathic and physiotherapy principles are also used in the process.
